Kobi fully supports the statements of the current head of the service (Zini), who came out against excessive subordination to lawyers and mentioned his subordination to the elected political echelon. Criticism of former heads of the service: Kobi sharply attacks The former Shin Bet chiefs (Nadav Argaman, Ronen Bar and Yoram Cohen) who are leading a campaign against Zini, and calls the petition of 169 Shin Bet personnel submitted to the High Court of Justice "complete bullshit and a rallying activity by retirees." He claims that the prime minister is entitled to instruct and ask the head of the Shin Bet anything within the framework of the law, and has never demanded anything illegal from them. 2. The October 7th Failure and the National Investigation Committee Blame the Outgoing Top brass: Kobi places direct responsibility for the disgrace and corruption of October 7th on the former head of the service, Ronen Bar. He accuses Bar of deliberately avoiding reporting to the prime minister about critical information received that night and of hiding information from him – a serious and unprecedented phenomenon. Demand for prosecution: Kobi calls for the establishment of a national investigation committee that will investigate the truth, and emphasizes that it is imperative to prosecute those responsible for the deaths of 1,200 civilians and 900 soldiers. According to him, as time goes by, it becomes clear that the motives for these failures tended to be political. 3. Involvement of lawyers and thwarting operational activity The release of terrorists in advance: Kobi reveals that as early as 1989–1990 he predicted and wrote in the press about Massive release of Hamas terrorists who had not yet been investigated by legal officials in the service. The release was made because of the fear that the investigation permits and the Shin Bet would not stand the "reasonableness test" of the judges in the courts. The current attorney general's intervention: He criticizes the absolute backing that the attorney general gives to Ronen Bar and the old Tzmera, and cites as an example her attempt to transfer the investigation of the leaks to Channel 12 to her. Kobi calls for the attorney general to be removed from her position and expects real reform of the legal system and in the legal advice of the security agencies after the elections. 4. The Jewish Brigade Affair and Avishai MualemPolitization and Abuse: Kobi claims that during Ronen Bar's time, destructive politics entered the Shin Bet, which harmed the organization. He backs up the testimony of Lieutenant Colonel Avishai Mualem (commander of the Shin Bet's "Y" Brigade) who exposed the wrongs committed in the Jewish Brigade. Quotes from the Brigade Chief: Kobi is shocked by the recordings in which the head of the Jewish Brigade is heard explicitly saying that he would put innocent residents in prison "with mice" even without intelligence information. He protests that Ronen Bar chose to promote that same brigade chief to another position instead of dismissing him and subjecting him to disciplinary action. Kobi emphasizes that most residents of Judea and Samaria are law-abiding citizens, and that a small gang of lawbreakers ("kings of Israel") should be dealt with using controlled means and without arbitrary administrative detentions. 5.
