Introduction to exercise after paraplegic spinal cord injury
Those with spinal cord injuries often lead more sedentary lives. By introducing light daily exercise, individuals can not only increase their mobility but also prevent future health complications. This video is an introduction on how to properly complete common exercises and discusses some of the many benefits gained from exercising, specifically for people with spinal cord injuries. It is important to note that this video does not aim to replace any exercises or treatments prescribed by therapists or clinicians.
