Сейчас это место навевает ужас! Деревянная Усадьба Быкова гора.

Now this place is terrifying. Wooden Estate Bykova Gora #estate #notstayathome Once Bykova Gora was famous for its wonderful park, marvelous buildings and unique library. The Naryshkin family worked and rested here. Now this place is more terrifying, especially for those who approach from the west through the old linden forest. From the thickets of oaks and maples found here and there, a traveler will see a wooden building, and coming closer, he may be surprised, and what's more, he will freeze. The old estate, made entirely of wood, is overgrown, crooked and frozen: the icon on the end speaks of the holiness of the place, here you can even read part of the text "... he was holy. Rus' did not protect, the Lord protected." The fate of the estate, founded in 1871, is connected with the great-great-grandson of L. K. Naryshkin – Emmanuil Dmitrievich Naryshkin (1813-1901), a public figure and philanthropist, Chief Chamberlain of the Court of His Imperial Majesty. In a short period of time, Emmanuil Dmitrievich managed to make a rapid career at court: he served as a senior official in the Ministry of Internal Affairs; Master of Ceremonies of the Court of His Imperial Majesty; was an actual privy councilor. He was awarded the most honorable and highest Russian order – the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called. The death of his first wife coincided with the abolition of serfdom – these two events changed Naryshkin’s life, he left the service and settled in the Tambov province. In the Shatsk region, he owned a vast estate, which included 16 villages with a population of 6,190 souls. In 1873-1875, a unique estate complex was built in the Bykova Gora tract through the efforts of Emmanuel Dmitrievich. The estate on Bykova Gora became a kind of summer residence for the Naryshkins. The center of the estate was a spacious two-story manor house - a building with intricate lancet windows, closed passages, medieval turrets and carved balconies, which offered a picturesque view of the floodplain meadows of the Tsna River. All the estate buildings were surrounded by the greenery of a shady garden and park, decorated with luxurious flower beds, gazebos and a pond. Overseas peaches and apricots ripened in the greenhouses. The uniqueness of the estate is that the huge, two-story manor house is built entirely of wood. The estate had a lively social life. Dinner parties and festive evenings were held, which attracted the cream of Russian society of that time. In September 1886, the estate was honored with a visit from high-ranking persons: Their Imperial Highnesses Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich with his wife Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna and His Imperial Highness Pavel Alexandrovich Romanov. The Minister of the Court I. I. Vorontsov-Dashkov also visited the estate. The estate had a training embroidery workshop for peasant women, led by the lady herself, which was famous throughout Russia. Samples of the finest lace are kept in Russian museums. Among other things, the workshops also cultivated the traditions of Russian beadwork, which was experiencing its “golden age” at that time. The estate had a network of small factories: a sawmill, a distillery, a tar factory, and a glass factory. In 1918, the estate library was transferred to the Central District Library. Nowadays, getting to Bykova Gora is not so easy. On the maps (which were last edited in the eighties and since then have been reprinted only by changing the year of publication and uploaded to GPS navigators) Bykova Gora has a signature - uninhabited. You can get there by the Ryazan - Shatsk - Konobeyevo - Vysha highway, and before reaching the last one, turn left along the asphalt. Sincerely yours Strange guy As a child, I really liked to spend the night in the car, not in the house. Now it turns out that it was car camping! A kind of vanlife! I live in the car quite professionally. True, not all the time, but with enviable frequency. huge abandoned mansion, palace, abandoned mansion, in the forest, estate, Naryshkin estate, Naryshkin estate, abandoned estate, Ryazan region, Shatsky district, history of the estate, abandoned estates, estates of Russia, abandoned Russia, history, village, outback of Russia, abandoned world, abandoned world, abandoned house, abandoned, abandoned, 19th century, Tambov province, excursion, history of Russia, noble family, Naryshkins, Naryshkin, history of the 19th century, old estate
