As the curator of the Pile of Fame, I ask the one question that really matters: does this historical strategy and city-building game have what it takes to become a legend – or is it just another candidate for the digital waiting room? 📋🤔 Agecraft promises exactly the kind of mix that makes strategy fans curious: build a settlement, manage resources, develop your economy, keep your people alive and guide your civilization step by step through different eras. Basically, everything that sounds like “I’ll only try this for a minute” – and suddenly turns into three hours. In this demo check, we look at how much depth is already there. Does the building system work? Is progression through the ages motivating? Does the economy have enough substance? And most importantly: does Agecraft deliver that dangerous “just one more step” feeling that makes good strategy games and city builders so addictive? A historical city builder with real potential – or just a promising demo that still needs more time?
