Surrogacy is a method in which a woman carries a child for a couple wishing to have a child. After birth, the child is handed over to the couple. According to the new law, no foreigner, non-resident Indian, person of Indian origin, or overseas citizen of India is authorized to practice surrogacy in India. Surrogacy has spread rapidly in India. From major cities to Bollywood, it has become a trend.
