The event, historically known as Cavalry Sunday, honors British and Commonwealth cavalry and yeomanry soldiers who died in the World Wars and subsequent conflicts. During the 2026 ceremony, the Duchess stood on the dais to take the official salute as veterans and bands marched past, marking 102 years since the memorial's unveiling.
