On this 35th year anniversary of The Little Mermaid (1989), I’m so excited to share this English cover of “La Sirenetta”—the Italian version of “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid (2023). This cover is a tribute to the brilliant translator, singer, and songwriter Ernesto “Ermavilo” Brancucci, whose creativity has touched the hearts of so many over the years and to the talented Yana_C, the singing voice of Halle Bailey’s Ariel in the Italian dub of the live-action film. It is an honor to bring the beauty of the Italian version of “La Sirenetta” to the English language! 🇮🇹🧜🏽‍♀️🇺🇸 Special thanks to David Mori Romeo for requesting this translation and for helping me adapt Ermavilo’s original Italian lyrics into English.
