Llamados a disfrutar a Cristo | Yonathan Lara

Yonathan Lara — Called to Enjoy It | Sermon Are you tired? Exhausted? Serving, but without rest for your soul? In this sermon, “Called to Enjoy It” takes us to the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:29-30 and confronts us with a truth we often forget: we were not called to burn out in religion, but to enjoy a living relationship with Christ. Jesus didn't just call us to do. He called us to come. He called us to walk with Him. And He called us to learn the unforced rhythms of grace. Religion teaches us to produce. The Lord teaches us to remain. Religion burdens. Christ gives rest to the soul. Throughout the message, the following are explored: 🔹 True rest for the soul 🔹 The difference between religious activity and living communion 🔹 How Christ is formed in us as our greatest delight 🔹 The 6 barriers that prevent us from enjoying communion with Him: Religion (doing without knowing) Appearance (seeming without living) Hidden sin (guilt that disconnects) Frustration (comparison that limits) Disappointment (untreated wounds) Heavy burdens (living on autopilot) And also the path back: ✔ Falling in love with Christ again, not with routine ✔ Letting go of the image and embracing the truth ✔ Confessing and cleansing our hearts ✔ Aligning expectations ✔ Entering back into the rhythm of grace God's call doesn't begin with our own hands, but with His Son being formed in us. Because when Christ is enough, service is born of love, and the fruit ceases to be effort and becomes delight. We were not called to merely survive spiritually. We were called to enjoy it. Christ in us—our rest, our reward, and our life.
