How We Laced the H-Brace Wire

Remodel EP: 18 Building the H-braces out the rest of the way with wire lashing—and it turned into more of a process than expected. In this video, I work through the steps of installing and tensioning the brace wire that locks the whole H-brace system together. Things start simple enough, but between pulling the right wire length, getting everything tightened correctly, and smacking my head in the process, it became one of those jobs that fights back the entire time. Briggs is also fully involved in the operation… mostly by hassling me, getting in the way, and acting like site supervisor while I’m trying to wrestle fence wire. This isn’t a polished how-to video—just the real process, mistakes included, as the fence project keeps moving forward one section at a time.
