6 locomotives on failed 6MP5 through the Adelaide Hills! 6MP5 rescue mission in South Australia

In the early hours of January 6th 2024 NR38 failed on 6MP5. The train stalled at Monarto. First we chase D233s from Belair to Monarto with NR8 NR101 and NR117. We then see D233s couple to 6MP5 at Monarto. Then we chase 6MP5 from Callington to Belair with NR117 NR101 NR8 NR38 NR21 and NR95. NR95 was idle on the way back to Adelaide leaving the front 3 locomotives and NR21 to power the train to Adelaide. At Yataringa 6MP5 was stopped on the mainline because 7AM9 had to cross 6MP9, 7MP7 and 2182s at this location. Enjoy watching!
