Governor's Advisory Council on Latino Empowerment Community Forum in Holyoke - Housing.

On June 3, 2026, Governor Maura Healey’s Advisory Council on Latino Empowerment (LEAC) launched its statewide community tour. This event was the first of several stops scheduled across the Commonwealth over the coming weeks. The insights gathered from residents during these listening sessions will directly inform the council’s upcoming strategic recommendations to the Governor. With the participation of Joshua García, Mayor of Holyoke; Theresa Cooper-Gordon, Char of the Board of Commissioners at the Holyoke Housing Authority, and Erik Nakajima, Director of the Office of Planning and Economic Development in Holyoke.
