2012 Nissan Rogue shaking and vibrating terribly when put in drive

This vehicle had it's automatic transmission replaced four months ago. Now the engine vibrates and shakes terribly when mounted on a hoist and put in drive. When on the floor, it makes a load popping noise at the completion of a 360 degree revolution. i understand that this vehicle has a history with this problem which the dealership would not agree to cover under warranty. Does any one know what the dealership has fixed in order to correct this problem or what might fix the problem from experience.
