South Bend Lathe 13" Cleanup and Tune UP!
Click half way through to not listen to me talk! 2:19 Just a quick clean up and tune up on an old neglected lathe. Not doing a restoration here, just getting this thing back up and running! These old South Bend 13" lathes were pretty stout machines for their size. They usually outweighed modern 13x40 lathes by about 4-500 lbs. They are still very capable of producing very accurate work as well.
