Webinar for parents and schoolchildren of grades 4-9. Professional chemist Denis Baigozin will tell us how we know that everything around us consists of molecules, how to see a molecule, how to measure it and recognize its properties. In practice, the children will independently see evidence of the existence of atoms and molecules, collect molecules and analyze their appearance. During the webinar, we will conduct real experiments using improvised materials. If you want to do them with us, prepare in advance. List of materials: plasticine, matches (box) or toothpicks (packaging). Two transparent glasses (glass or plastic), a kettle with water (we will boil it during class), cold water, strong (very strong) black tea. A pipette or a small syringe (or a cotton swab as a last resort).
