Adrian Edmondson Breaks Down Talking About His Great Friend Rik Mayall

This is Adrian Edmondson on Desert Island Discs discussing how close him and Rik were going to do an new series together called Hooligans Island, which was a take on Hooligans Island Tour they did back in 1997 for Bottom Live, which I remember watching years ago on VHS, and remembering how crude the live show was to the TV Show. The Live Shows made the TV Show seem like an Disney Movie. He emotionally breaks down talking about the amazing relationship he had with Rik. To me, they were the best comedy duo of all time. They had such an magnetic chemistry that couldn't be manufactured, and together broke down the doors for all alternative comedy. Dangerous Brothers, Comic Strip Presents, Young Ones, Filthy, Rich And Catflap, Bottom, and I even loved the Bottom Movie too.
