Atacama 2026 - Dia 01 - Trajeto de Farroupilha - RS até Dionísio Cerqueira - SC

This is a trip that took place between April 4th and April 18th, 2026, where we went to the Atacama Desert, crossing Argentina through the provinces of Misiones, Corrientes, Chaco, Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, Salta, and Jujuy. We crossed the famous Jama Pass and its challenges. In Chile, I visited the city of San Pedro de Atacama, the Valle de la Luna, the Geysers del Tatio geothermal field, and bathed in the same river as the Puritama Hot Springs, a semi-thermal river. I went on the Magic Bus in Atacama, and in Antofagasta I saw the famous Hand of the Desert and a bit of the coastal road. It was a great trip shared with friends I met on the first day of the trip, who were fundamental in ensuring the trip went perfectly and without any problems. On the 1st, we only traveled within Brazil, leaving the state of Rio Grande do Sul and entering the states of Santa Catarina and Paraná.
