A tour of the cactus & succulent garden at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne!

This week on The Horti-Culturalists we venture into the prickly but fabulous world of the cactus & succulent garden at Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne! It's a relatively new design and planting scheme replacing an older and not quite as spectacular one! The garden also includes the collection of a passionate local cactus specialist so the specimens are mature and planted in multiples which looks amazing! We have a whole dry climate garden playlist which you can find here:    • DRY CLIMATE GARDENS   You can find out more about visiting the garden here: https://www.rbg.vic.gov.au/ The plants we discuss in this video are: Dracaena draco Oreocereus leucotrichus Dymondia margaretae Opuntia microdasys Deuterocohnia brevifolia Ochagavia carnea Malephora crocea Stapelia Euphorbia milii Euphorbia ingens x Euphorbia triangularis Austrocylindropuntia cylindrica
