Vahe's Happiness on Vacation Episode 37 Summary: This week, Vahe Kılıçarslan and his team begin their gastronomy and history route in Gaziantep, the UNESCO-registered capital of flavors. In the city's captivating culinary culture, we watch Onur Usta, the head of the Katmer Makers Association, and his son Faruk Usta, showcasing their showy heart-shaped katmer (a type of pastry), Serdar Usta's steaming eggplant kebab, and the health-boosting beyran (a type of soup). We also savor the crispy künefe (a sweet pastry) with plenty of pistachios made by Duygu Hanım and İbrahim Usta, and the incredibly delicate dolama (a type of pastry) and baklava from the veteran Hacı Usta. The regional "Şiveydiz" dish, prepared by Şahinbey Mayor Mehmet Tahmazoğlu and Ms. Güneş, crowns Gaziantep's culinary feast. Turning our route to the neighboring city of Kahramanmaraş, known for its heroic epics and unique cuisine, we meet the skillful women of Dumlupınar neighborhood at a restaurant with a historical museum concept. Under the hospitality of Fatma Turaç, the famous stuffed intestines (mumbar dolması), lamb chops, stone-baked "eli böğründe" (a type of kebab), and exquisite Maraş tava (a type of stew) are presented on screen, all crafted with the love and care of Nuran and Ayşe. Finally, we pay a delicious tribute to Anatolia's rich gastronomic heritage with Turgut Usta's yogurt kebab on crispy pita bread and his groundbreaking pistachio lahmacun (a type of flatbread).
