Is the New BMW M550i as good as the M5 Comp ?

I was invited to Goodwood Speedweek by BMW UK to experience the brand new 5 Series. I took the 4.4L V8 M550i out on the road and asked a simple question, just how close to the M5 Competition is it. I was then able to take the M5 Comp to the limit on a short blast around Goodwood, hitting 152mph on my first lap. That is how confidence inspiring it is. Thanks to BMW UK for the invite.
