The Noosa Bar and Bay. Saturday morning, July 11, 2026.

A tad chilly but otherwise a lovely start to the day here in Noosa with blue skies over low lying cloud. Lots of boats heading out early. A cool 4 to 6 knot south westerly breeze blowing at the river mouth and a small sloppy swell on the bar. BOM forecast is for south to south easterly winds about 10 knots becoming north to north easterly in the evening. Seas: Below 1 metre. Swell: South easterly around 1 metre inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore. Filmed between 6.15am and 7.15am which was a couple of hours after a 1.48m high tide.
