Winter Trip in Stowe, Vermont | -24°C Weather, Frozen Waterfalls & Cozy Breweries [EP11]

Episode 11 of Lakoda Adventures We wrapped up the holidays with a snowy New Year’s trip to Stowe, Vermont, one of our favorite places in New England! This episode includes heaps of cozy stops: Movement Coffee (again), haunted bridges, frozen waterfalls, whiskey tastings, and cider flights… not to mention Koda’s adventures in -24°C temps 🐾 After escaping our snowed-in Airbnb in Wilmington, we drove through a snowstorm to return to our favorite stay: Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge in Stowe. From there, it was all winter wonderland vibes. Trip Highlights: – Movement Coffee Roasters ☕ – Dinner at The Bench + American Flatbread Pizza – Whiskey at Smugglers’ Notch Distillery & beer at The Alchemist – Moss Glen Falls (now frozen!) – Exploring the haunted Emily’s Bridge 👻 – Cozy pub hangs at Idletyme Brewing & cider flights at Stowe Cider – NYE dinner at The Matterhorn and a snowstorm party escape at 1AM – A quick side trip to Montpelier — the smallest state capital in the U.S. – A failed visit to Von Trapp Brewery (but we got the mugs!) This was the perfect cozy, chaotic, cider-filled way to ring in the new year — Vermont style.
