An Eastern Bluebird settles down in Massachusetts to lay four beautiful eggs during the spring breeding season. Each egg was laid twenty-four hours apart, and the female was careful in delivering each one to ensure that none were damaged. It was comforting to see how the male, on occasion, popped into the nest to give his partner some food whilst she was in the laying process. Both parents went on to raise all four chicks until they fledged the nest some weeks later.
