At Jeroen Bosch Hospital (JBZ), we'll no longer be referring to the nurse, but to the Nursing Professional, the VP! A name that honors the full breadth of the profession and the individual. Our vision is that the VP is the driving force behind appropriate patient care, both now and in the future. As a VP, you're closest to the patient and know their needs like no other. This makes you a valuable and equal link in the patient-focused team. You're dedicated to providing patient care. In addition to your role as a caregiver, you also fulfill other nursing roles. For example, you're an expert in health and well-being, you're committed to improving the quality of care, and you continuously learn about your field. By fulfilling multiple roles, you fulfill the profession "across the board." What that role entails can be different for everyone, because you can only reach your full potential if you have work that suits you.
