Bringing My Dad's 1977 International Scout II Back to Life | Episode 1
My dad loved International Scouts. This 1977 Scout II was one of his favorite projects, but after he passed away in 2013, it sat untouched for more than 20 years. In this first episode, we're finally bringing it home, installing new tires, giving it its first real cleaning in decades, and sharing the story behind why this vehicle means so much to our family. This isn't going to be a perfect restoration or a TV build. It's about preserving a piece of our family's history and getting Dad's Scout back where it belongs, on the trail. If you enjoy classic 4x4s, off-road adventures, family stories, or International Scouts, you're in the right place. Coming up in this series: • Getting the engine running again • Mechanical repairs • Trail preparation • The Scout's first drive in years • Its first off-road adventure Thanks for coming along on this journey. 👍 If you enjoyed the video, please Like, Subscribe, and leave a comment with your own family project or Scout story!
