El Colibri y la Flor by Trio Palabras

This is a beautiful song, recorded on location at the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Santa Clara, the oldest church in the city. It tells the story of a hummingbird that tries to rescue a flower from a torrent of water, and eventually drowns in the attempt. The last line of the lyrics goes "I am the humminbird, if you want me. The torrent is my passion and you are the flower..." Trio Palabras is: Nubia González (guitar), Vania Martinez (primary vocals) and Liane Pérez (secondary vocals).
