Mancherje's :Delicious Parsi food on Kyd Street

Ever since we came across the Parsi Dharmshala in Bow Barracks , where one had to pre order and then go ; we were dying to taste some Parsi khana. That particular day both my friend Krishna , whose daughter in law Natasha is a Parsi #, and myself had some work in Park street as well as New Market.This provided the ideal opportunity to visit the Mancherji's. This Parsi eatery had opened it dors in Kyde Street in 2007 by Manchi & his wife Suparna a Bengali lady. Suparna was taught all about Parsi food by her mother in law Halli Mancherji a very famous Parsi Caterer. But with old age she couldn't do much and then Suprior took up the reigns. They first opened a shop on SN Banereej Road. Then in 2007 they opened this outlet on Kyde Street. Beside Parsi food this restaurant also serves Bengali food in order to cater to rhe huge workforce in the Park Street area at a very reasonable price. Though the owners are Parsee who worship the fire God, we found Gods and Goddesses of all religion on their wall. We had ordered Dhansak, Patrani Machhi, Salli Chicken , Chicken Farcha and mutton Keema Pattie. We did enjoy all the Parsee food that was served to us. The restaurant was nearley full by the time we finished our lunch and was ready to leave.
