McLaren 750S: Is This Worth $365,000?

Let’s test drive and review the McLaren 750S Spider supercar! And thanks ‪@MagnaInternationalTV‬ for sponsoring this video! The McLaren 750S is a marvel of beauty and performance. It’s got 740 horsepower. It revs to 8,500 rpm. It’s more evolved than the iconic McLaren 720S, and it’s one of the fastest street cars you can buy. This 750S has Belize Blue paint, a color-changing glass roof, and carbon fiber all over. The total price is $365,000 USD, and of all the press-car paint colors I’ve ever had, Belize Blue is the best yet. The McLaren 750S makes 740 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque from a 4-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine. All that power goes through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to the rear wheels, bringing this car from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds. Just like the 720S, the 750S’ name comes from its metric horsepower figure, which is 750. The 720S made 720 metric horsepower and 710 America HP. The 750S is a wild car. It has a carbon-fiber monocoque, which creates an ultra-light and ultra-rigid shell around the driver. On the Spider, there’s a carbon-fiber upper structure to save weight, meaning it’s only about 100 pounds heavier than the coupe — despite having a power-retractable convertible hardtop driven by eight motors.  The 750S is a sports car meant for the road and track, but doesn’t really compromise on either. Its transformation from street to track powertrain and suspension modes is astounding, making it daily-drivable and a hardcore track car.
