Heiligenhafen an der Ostsee: Binnensee, Markt, Hafen, Einkaufsmeile und Seebrücke Baltic Sea pier

Heiligenhafen, a small town in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein on the Baltic Sea, that is popular with tourists and day trippers and attracts visitors with a beautiful beach and a fresh sea breeze. We start our walk on the Eichholzweg and look across the Inland Lake to the Steinwarder and the Baltic Sea resort. The inland lake is connected to the Baltic Sea at the bridge at the marina. We continue our walk along Bridge Street, turn into Church Street at the Stolz department store and shortly afterwards find ourselves in front of the doors of the St. Nicolai town church, which were closed on the day we visited. We continue to the town hall on the Market square, the center of Heiligenhafen, in the middle of which there is a maypole and beach chairs for you to relax in. From there we walk to the harbor, where you can treat yourself to a delicious meal in the fish market or the surrounding restaurants. The marina is only shown briefly; the marina itself is presented in its own film. We reach the pier promenade, Heiligenhafen's strip mall. At the end of our walk we visit the pier itself, look out over Heiligenhafen's white beaches, the Baltic Sea and you can see the island of Fehmarn opposite.
