From the Nordkapp to Lapland, this week did not go as we expected

We thought driving our Land Rover Defender 130 to the Nordkapp and into Lapland would be a breeze, but the Arctic had other plans. From mechanical scares to an actual mosquito invasion in Finland, this week was one for the books. We were hoping for peaceful forest tracks and moose sightings, but instead, we found ourselves in a literal "war zone" with giant mosquitoes that forced us to change our plans entirely.
