Leofoto G4 Pro Geared Head - Precise Control for Landscape Photography

There are a myriad of choices for tripod heads for your landscape photography. Everything from which brand, which model, and whether it is a ball head or geared head. In today’s video we are going to focus on what is a geared head, how it differs from a ball head, and look specifically at the geared head from Leofoto, the G4 Pro. I have become a big fan of geared heads for my landscape photography, but they aren’t a good fit for everybody, you have to think about your style of landscape photography. I talk about why I prefer a geared head and how my six plus months with the Leofoto G4 Pro geared head have gone.
