It would receive several expansions and renovations over the years, but that would not stop the mall from losing anchors such as Sears an Elder Beerman. Today, the Dayton Mall sits with a bit of an uncertain future, as the nearby Fairfield Commons continues to see new additions, Dayton Mall is slowly seeing occupancy go down.
