RCSchim's ULTIMATE FPV-Antenna test

Using good components here is way better than to just shoot out with 1200mw on a cheap antenna. I've tested antennas in the past - but never was happy with my tests. So I researched the best possible way (without $$$ LAB equipment) to get good results. Just using the antennas and comparing DVR footage is not accurate enough for me - and sometimes hard to judge. My test-setup: I use 1mW on the transmitter, 5m distance to a VERY SENSITIVE receiver (Aaronia Spectran HF6065 -150dB!) and take enough samples from the -DB reading on the display to get an average. The VTX is warmed up before the test - this way I can be sure it stays at the same output level for all antennas. This is not 100% accurate. On start I had 815uW and after 1h testing it showed 1029uW or 1mw - but this should not impact measurements too much! I know I should have stayed on a wide open field to have NO reflections - but it's just to hot here :) There is a massive amount of links below.
