Vancouver Island: The giant trees of Carmanah Park and Avatar Grove
Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park is a place I’ve been wanting to visit for several years, but the trip has been on hold since it involves more than four hours (from Victoria) of driving on rough logging roads. Well, I finally made it there thanks to a couple of adventurous friends. It’s a wild, remote and magical place.
