On Saturday, May 16, the official citywide opening of the 2026 motorcycle season took place on Krestovsky Island, supported by the City Government's Committee for Physical Culture and Sports. The event drew a huge crowd of motorcyclists from both St. Petersburg and a variety of locations, some quite far away. Fortunately, there was no precipitation, and the motorcycle parade took place in warm, albeit slightly overcast, weather.
