I Don't Feel Safe....a diesel heater update

Well, like most things, nothing is easy. I thought the simplest thing would be to move the diesel heater in place of the old propane furnace but as it turns out...I just don't feel safe with that amount of heat going through the existing ducting and touching the wooden floors and my plumbing.
