本作品は、国立映画アーカイブが所蔵する文化・記録映画など映画作品を配信するWEBサイト「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」https://filmisadocument.jp（制作：国立映画アーカイブ、国立情報学研究所）の公開作品です。 『上海事件』(シャンハイジケン、1932年) 製作会社不詳 37分,白黒,サイレント 満洲事変後に激化した抗日運動を背景に、1932年1月28日に起きた武力衝突より勃発した第一次上海事変について、閘北方面における海軍陸戦隊の活動、陸軍第九師団の上陸、重砲兵隊による呉淞攻撃から、歩兵第22連隊による嘉定入城までが、淡々と描かれている。 「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」では、1922年から1936年までに製作された49作品を新たに公開いたします。この時期の前半は、文部省製作による秀作や長篇の観光映画などが注目されますが、満州事変勃発以降の作品になると、軍事色の急速な高まりを伺うことができます。国立映画アーカイブでは、今後も随時公開作品を増やしていく予定です。ぜひサイトをお訪ねください。 ---------------------------------------- This is one of the films featured on the website “Film IS a Document: NFAJ Historic Film Portal” (a joint project of the National Film Archive of Japan and the National Institute of Informatics) which streams a selection of titles from the NFAJ film collection with initial focus on cultural and documentary films.
