Essai des Yamaha Genesis 1000 FZR, Kawasaki 750 GPX et Honda 750 VFR – Automoto 18 octobre 1986

The segment “Motorcycles, The Beauties of the Show” from the Automoto program of October 18, 1986, by Yves Géniès. A few days after the Paris Motor Show, Automoto was able to get behind the handlebars of the major new models: the Yamaha 1000 FZR Genesis, inspired by the world of racing and boasting impressive low-end torque; the brand-new Kawasaki 750 GPX with its 4-cylinder engine and lines reminiscent of the 1000 RX; and finally, a test ride of the Honda 750 VFR at the Castellet circuit, whose technology is derived from endurance racing, particularly the bike that won the 50th Bol d'Or, and a look at the Honda 600 Transalp with its 55-horsepower V-twin engine.
