Original video: https://mega.nz/file/KjZgWRyL#0BznSGY... This video is mostly a shot-for-shot remake of my original, with a few notable changes: -Moderate script adjustments -The narration has been re-recorded from scratch -All footage of Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood has been replaced with my own recordings of the DVD releases -Footage that resulted in a worldwide block has been altered -All Game of Thrones clips have been replaced by footage I have sourced myself -The original outro has been removed There’s something hilarious about me, specifically, remaking a video; considering how much I complain about remakes and remasters in general. The original FMA 2003 was a Terrible Adaptation was my first real video and I feel very attached to it. It’s rough, in a lot of ways. The script was recorded almost entirely in one take with a load of mistakes, there are stray frames everywhere, and on the whole it really isn’t up to the level of quality people were used to even in its time. However, with about sixteen thousand views at the time of its takedown, it was my most viewed by a significant margin. Of my entire body of work, it’s probably the piece I’m most proud of; if for no other reason than going from zero videos to one video is such a monumental event. It was legitimately heartbreaking when I saw the email regarding the worldwide block, followed by a full takedown. That sucked. I wish I still had that little artifact on my channel – uploaded on Christmas Day of 2020; a nice little bow to a year full of chaotic and unexpected change. But here it is again, today, on the four year anniversary of its original release. Here’s to four more.
