Sean Reyes (Long Island Audits) Joins Thin Blue Lie Audits at Palm Bay City Hall
Welcome back to Thin Blue Lie Audits. In this video, Sean Reyes from Long Island Audits joined me in Palm Bay, Florida, as we exercised one of the most important rights citizens have—the right to inspect and request public records from our government. Sean livestreamed this entire visit from his perspective. This video shows the same experience from my point of view as we walked through Palm Bay City Hall and the Palm Bay Police Department submitting several public records requests related to ongoing accountability investigations. During our visit to the Palm Bay Police Department, we also submitted a formal complaint for Internal Affairs to review the actions of K-9 Officer Hofmann. The purpose of the complaint is to request an administrative investigation to determine whether any department policies, state or federal laws, or constitutional and civil rights may have been violated based on the facts presented. As with any Internal Affairs complaint, the determination will be made by the agency after its review. Public records laws exist to promote transparency and accountability. They give citizens the ability to verify information, understand how government operates, and hold public officials accountable for their actions. Whether you're an activist, journalist, content creator, or simply someone who believes in transparent government, I hope this video encourages you to exercise your own rights. Be sure to check out Sean Reyes and Long Island Audits to watch his livestream perspective of this visit. If you enjoy content focused on police accountability, government transparency, and public records investigations, please consider subscribing to Thin Blue Lie Audits and turn on notifications so you don't miss future videos. 👍 Like this video if you support government transparency. 💬 Leave a comment with your thoughts. 🔔 Subscribe for more police accountability investigations, public records requests, and in-depth analysis.
