In this first episode of Colombia Under the Stars, I travel to Villa de Leyva to attend the 29th Astronomy Festival, a unique event that brings together amateurs, experts, and sky enthusiasts in one of Colombia's most spectacular settings. Throughout the video, I show you what this gathering is like from the inside: observations, talks, the atmosphere, and the real experience of sharing the sky with hundreds of people united by the same passion. I also take advantage of the trip to visit the Fossil Museum, home to one of the country's most important fossils: a spectacular specimen of Kronosaurus boyacensis, which connects us to the region's marine past more than 100 million years ago.
