PART 4. THE EDGE of NIGHT Lost and Found Treasured Episodes 1976-1980.

EON #5445 March 7, 1977 Nicole who has suffered through four failed assassination attempts finds out she is pregnant with Adam’s child and put on bedrest. Embezzler Claude Revenant’s Paradise Island has been discovered and raided by the police, but he manages to escape and returns to Monticello to make Nicole pay for what she’s done to him. In the opening scene Abby Wolcott pleads with Claude not to hurt Nicole to no avail. Claude suffocates Abby with a pillow and climbs the stairs (very familiar stairs ...from April’s penthouse, Gavin’s dance studio and a random disco) to finish off Nicole. Steve Guthrie and Deborah Saxon have lasagna and coffee. They are adorable together. They flirt and talk about Beau Richardson who is a bad guy pretending to be good and working for her mafia father Tony Saxon. I am amazed at the length of the scenes in this show. And only three sets and six contract players for the whole show. That’s a lot of lines. No wonder I catch someone looking at the teleprompter in every one of these 1976-77 episodes.
