It seems they entered the nest box on the town hall roof on May 15th. Egg-laying is expected in early June, with hatching in late June. I wanted to check on them before then, so I visited Tenryu Village. Several birds seem to have already arrived. There are two nest boxes each on the town hall roof and on the bridges over the Tenryu River in the town. I confirmed the nest boxes on the bridges in three locations.
