Krom river- a MUST DO waterfall hike!!
If gigantic mountains, greenery and waterfalls to swim in is your thing, then you cannot overlook this hike! A quick 40 mins out of Cape town, this hike can be very technical with stepping over rocks, muddy terrain, loose stones and crossing the river. There are no real inclines, except for the last bit to get to the main waterfall, which require you to use your upper body strength for a bit of scrambling with some of the chains at some locations. When you reach the end of the hike, the last waterfall will leave you totally breathless!! Depending on your group's fitness level, this hike can take anything from 1 and a half hours or more to the first waterfall, but it is SO WORTH IT!!
