The Ohio State University Marching Band, TBDBITL, The Best Damn Band In The Land. Summer Session 6 30 2016 Block Band Music and Marching. OSUMB Summer Session is open to any current or prospective OSU student interested in trying out for the OSU Marching Band, TBDBITL (The Best Damn Band In The Land.) This session was held on June 30, 2016. Held Tuesday and Thursday nights during the summer, the Summer Session includes music practice, marching practice, and block band, marching with music. If you want to know what happens at summer session, whether you are a student or parent or fan of the Band, watch this video. Instructors at Summer Sessions are 2016 season Row Squad Leaders and Asst. Squad Leaders as well as Band members from the last season who plan to try out again in 2016. Every band member must audition every year, no matter how many years they have marched.
