A retired operative living a quiet life, Clay is thrust back into violence when his neighbor, Eloise Parker, falls victim to a sophisticated phishing scam that leads to her tragic suicide. This inciting incident reveals Clay's past as a member of the Beekeepers, a clandestine organization that operates outside government jurisdiction to protect the national hive from systemic corruption. The narrative follows Clay on a brutal revenge mission against a criminal enterprise specializing in elder fraud. As he dismantles high-tech call centers, he faces opposition from FBI agents Verona Parker and Matt Wiley, along with elite mercenaries.
