Rupert Holmes - Him 1980

David Goldstein (n. Northwich, Cheshire, Inglaterra, 24 de febrero de 1947) es un músico, cantante, compositor, escritor y autor brito-estadounidense de varias obras de teatro y novelas. Más conocido por sus grandes éxitos: "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)" n°1 en el "Hot 100" y la canción pop "Him" n°6 en 1980. Fue ganador de dos premios Tony en 1985 por el musical Drood (originalmente llamada The Mistery of Edwin Drood) también su libro ganó en 2007 un Drama Desk Award, el cual fue escrito para el musical del Broadway Curtains y por su serie de televisión Remember WENN.
