Battery Upgrade Kit For Early 430X, 450X, & 550 Husqvarna Automower Models.

The early versions, 2016 through early 2019, of the 430X, 450X, and 550 Husqvarna Automowers were powered by the 589585701 blue lithium ion batteries. In 2019 Husqvarna introduced a new battery, part number 593247401, that they were using to power their high cut , or "H" models (430XH, 450XH, 550H) of Automowers that debuted in 2019. Husqvarna eventually made the switch to these new plastic box encased lithium ion batteries in the 430X, 450X, and 550 models of Automowers. The serial number break for the batteries was as follows. 430X, 450X, and 550 models of Automowers with a serial number of 1913XXXXX or lower came assembled with the original style blue batteries. 430X, 450X, and 550 models of Automowers with a serial number of 191409786 or higher came equipped with the new black box style batteries. In the summer of 2022 Husqvarna began superseding orders for battery part number 589585701, the original style blue battery, to part number 529606802 which is a kit to update the mower to use the plastic box style battery. The kit comes with one of each of the following: 593247401 battery, 596494701 battery holder, and 591203601battery wiring harness. These are the contents required for updating a early version 430X Automower which uses one battery. But what about the early 450X and 550 Automowers which use 2 of the blue batteries? Well, as of the time of recording this video Husqvarna did not have a kit that included 2 batteries, 2 wiring harnesses, and a battery cradle. BUT, we are offering our own kit for those of you with an early version of 450X or 550 that has the old style batteries.
