One of the best ways to explore Ilhabela is by cycling along the island's bike path. It starts at the ferry and heads north, passing through the Ilhabela Commercial Center (Perequê) to the Historic Center of Ilhabela (Vila). This is because a large part of Ilhabela's bike path runs along the seafront. Thus, the view along the way is beautiful, passing by several beaches and neighborhoods such as: Barra Velha Beach, Pereque Beach, Itaguassu Beach, Itaquanduba Beach, Engenho d'Água Beach, Pequea Beach, Saco da Capela Beach and Vila. Although the route along the Ilhabela seaside bike path is about 8km long, the route is easy, as the path is flat the whole time. In the video I show the route from the ferry to Vila, but I also add a bonus that goes beyond the bike path: the Praia dos Barreiros viewpoint, which proved to be an excellent place to watch the sunset!
