Christmas isn't exactly a day like any other, actually, but over the years, we've gotten more or less used to spending it away from our families. In the middle of a typical week, on December 25th, there's the classic video meeting and then practice. There's no escape! This year, with the world turned upside down, I would have loved to spend Christmas at home—especially knowing how much my parents would have loved it—but I know I'm incredibly lucky, and I'm holding on to it: being able to play the sport I love every day, and also calling it my job.
