Shinobi ’88 from Jiraiya! I’ve been meaning to sing this song since the first time I heard it earlier this year. Yes, I only discovered this beautiful song this year while searching for awesome metal hero themes. I know the opening theme is catchy and there are also a lot of requests for me to do that but Shinobi ’88 really captured my heart. 💖 We’ll get to the opening, too, so don’t worry! 😉 This song, when you try to change some of the lyrics and turn it into something that’ll be more relatable to the general audience, I think it would be enough to make it a hit in the mainstream music scene back in the 80’s or early 90’s. The vibe is as good as some songs from one of my favourite Japanese band, Anzen Chitai (安全地帯). I wonder if there are other tokusatsu songs with the same feels as this one. Well, I know one! And that’s Shaider Blue! I’d like to sing that song in the future, too!
